Q: How does Loquat IQ enable financial institutions to effortlessly move from metrics to strategic analysis?
Rob: At its core, Loquat IQ is a translator. Let’s say that you have a query that is broken down by day, and you really want it broken down by hour. Traditionally, you would have to translate that modification to a database administrator, who then might modify the query and get you your answer. Or you might spend an hour in a business intelligence front-end trying to figure out how to modify it yourself.
Q: Do users need technical skills to uncover these insights?
Rob: Absolutely not. The person closest to the business is the person who probably understands it the best and who should be empowered to ask questions and try to understand or identify opportunities.
Loquat IQ makes asking those questions easy, using a clear and simple English language interface.
Q: When should you use Loquat IQ?
Rob: Common metrics are built into Loquat right out of the box and available in real time. You should reach for Loquat IQ when you want to modify those metrics, may be broken down by hour instead of by day, but where Loquat IQ really shines is when you have a much more complex strategic analysis, let’s say, broken down by industry segment, where the answer might lead you to another question and another question that ultimately leads you to the leverage in the business, understanding what’s working, what’s not, and where the opportunities are for growth and optimization.
Q: How do you ensure the AI is both accurate and secure?
Rob: That is one of the most critical parts of the Loquat IQ architecture. When a user asks an English language question, an AI run only for your business in a secure cloud instance translates that query into a SQL query. It then runs that against your database, also in a secure cloud instance. So that end-to-end, it’s fully compliant with regulations and fully secure, while still delivering to users a very simple, easy and approachable chat interface that they’re increasingly coming to expect.
