Taking the traditional route in life was never an option, I’ve followed my passions. I’ve set up Olympic Villages, Started Energy Companies, worked at Goldman Sachs and now I’m doing what I always wanted to – making the world a fairer place and for me, that means embracing small businesses that represent the backbone of society.
I believe that to improve peoples’ standards of living you must equip them with the necessary resources.
For a small business owner failure is not an option because their passions go beyond business outcomes – they are the backbone of families and communities. I want to give small business owners peace of mind so that they can focus on their business and not worry about cashflow. This begins with access to money today… not tomorrow.
With my wealth of experience in product delivery and management from the financial services industry, I joined Loquat as Chief Product Delivery Officer.
Throughout my career, I have successfully launched new and innovative products at renowned companies like Western Union, Expedia Group, Charles Schwab, and NCR. These products have always focused on combining smooth compliance processes with user-friendly interfaces, positioning them for success in the market.
I am inspired to join Loquat’s mission to empower small businesses through seamless and secure software solutions.

As a transformational leader with over 30 years of international experience in banking, digital payments, country management and entrepreneurship, I am honored to join Loquat as the Chief Revenue and Customer Success Officer. Together we will develop greater business opportunities for small businesses by seamlessly connecting Credit Unions, Community Banks, and Small Business Owners with Loquat’s innovative application. The slope of progress has been materialized and shaped by innovation in finance and digital technology. Loquat’s motivational development in the fintech ecosystem enables small businesses with the tools and resources needed to further enhance their ability to access technology that facilitates and accelerates their opportunity for growth. As an integral part of Loquat’s leadership team, I am looking forward to collaborating with all our business partners in the ecosystem to provide best in class technology for small business owners. I was drawn to Loquat’s solution which is rooted in security and risk mitigation. Loquat’s platform makes it possible to optimize and automate rigorous compliance requirements. As a former Global Head of AML at CIT Group and Chief Compliance Officer at The Bancorp Bank I spent years integrating traditional processes into new technologies that were cumbersome. As a former FBI Intelligence Analyst who witnessed the vulnerabilities of risk exposure up close, it was exciting to see that the core of Loquat’s technology was created on a foundation of risk mitigation without sacrificing Customer usability.
With 15+ years of experience in technology and telecommunication industries, including strategy and transformation roles at AT&T, British Telecom, and Boston Consulting Group, I joined Loquat as Head of Product to oversee client implementations and drive strategic initiatives.
Given the crucial role small businesses play in our economy and communities, it becomes imperative for banks and credit unions to furnish them with efficient access to capital and banking services. I am excited to work with Loquat’s leadership team to provide cutting-edge technology to this underserved segment, enabling them to better serve their communities.
Bringing over 15 years of strategic finance leadership in diverse industries like financial services, industrials, and healthcare, I am privileged to join Loquat as Vice President, Corporate Finance and Chief of Staff. Loquat distinguishes itself with its unique small business banking cloud platform designed for Credit Unions and Community Banks. Focusing on accelerating their digital transformation journeys, we empower small businesses with the tools they need to thrive. I look forward to collaborating with our clients to bring Loquat’s mission to life.
As a founder of 2 global insurance companies my experiences have taught me that a successful startup hinges on the people that the firm can attract to drive the execution of the business plan, which is why I joined Loquat as an Investor and Advisor.

As a leader of the global payments industry with over 30 years of experience across the entire debit to credit spectrum having held senior positions in sales, risk authentication, and digital innovation, I am elated to join Loquat as an investor and advisor.
I have been regarded as one of the go-to experts for banks, fintechs, and corporates exploring new card programmes and expanding internationally, and regularly consulted by analysts for his views on the future of global payments. A disrupter and innovator at heart, I was at Visa for 18 years and as EVP of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships, was responsible for developing and driving Visa’s product and technology roadmap, as well as business development for strategic partnerships. Some of the many game-changing payments solutions I have been involved with include the delivery of industry standards like 3D Secure and Visa Token Service, and the launch of Apple Pay®.
With over 30 years in the payments space in various leadership positions at Citicorp, GE Capital, JPMorgan Chase and over 18 years at Visa, Inc., I joined Loquat as an advisor.
To my fascination, I found that two of my past roles merged seamlessly at Loquat. In my first role, I led Visa’s Commercial Product Development organization, which was focused on delivering payment products and services to help SMBs achieve their goals. In my second role, I led Visa’s Financial Institution sales team in North America. There, I was privileged to work with Credit Unions and Community Banks of all sizes and geographies, helping them deliver on the Member and Customer imperative.
As an Advisor to Loquat, I can’t think of anything more important than helping small businesses deliver on their critical role in our economy while helping Credit Unions and Community Banks continue to expand their innovative solutions to their respective members and customer bases.
