Senior Solution Architect / Lead Developer
Job Overview

As our Senior Solution Architect/Lead Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in further developing our small business banking cloud platform. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to introduce new features and design scalable, secure solutions that align with our business objectives and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on architecture and design for solutions used to enable the success of Loquat’s small business banking cloud platform, including new products, features and integrations
  • Understand current state solutions, identify improvements, options, and tradeoffs, define target state solutions, and propose investment roadmaps
  • Architect highly available, resilient solutions deployed across Loquat’s technology ecosystem and 3rd party-hosted implementations
  • Ensure quality and detail in architectural and engineering solutions for technology deployments
  • Data management modeling, querying (SQL, SOQL, SOSL), conversion, and integration experience
  • Provide technical leadership to the design, development, and implementation of targeted custom solutions by Software Engineers through informed use of modern technology
  • Define, structure, and plan work independently while maintaining alignment across dynamic teams and organizations
  • Design and execute all the necessary tests to ensure solution functionality and reliability
  • Identity and access management experience
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred
  • 8+ years of software development experience, with a strong background in systems architecture or technology solution design, particularly in the financial services and/or fintech sector
  • Proficient in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Skilled in programming languages like React or Flutter, automation, and continuous delivery methods
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
  • Proficient in software applications and technical processes in areas like AI, ML, and mobile
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • Possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills and have the ability to shift context and priorities quickly
  • Have a proven track record for leading and enabling technology, architecture, and software engineering activities at enterprise scale
  • Seamlessly react to changes in priorities and new requests while maintaining existing commitments
  • AWS or equivalent certifications (Solution Architect-Associate)

Senior Enterprise Sales Executive
Job Overview

As our Senior Enterprise Sales Executive at Loquat, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our small business banking cloud platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging your skills and enterprise sales experience, you will identify and cultivate relationships with key financial institutions, introducing them to our innovative solutions. Your strategic sales efforts will ensure that Loquat’s solutions surpass the needs of our clients, enforcing our position in the fintech space and contributing significantly to our overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate and grow Loquat’s market share, focusing on financial institutions like credit unions and regional/ small- and medium-sized banks
  • Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and leveraging existing contacts, focusing on demonstrating Loquat’s value proposition tailored to the unique needs of each prospect
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with senior executives and decision-makers within the financial institutions. Engage strategically with clients and leveraging networks for lead generation
  • Become an expert on Loquat’s product offerings and the broader fintech landscape to effectively communicate the benefits and features of our platform to potential clients
  • Collaborate closely with product, development, and marketing teams for consistent sales strategies
  • Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may impact Loquat’s sales strategy
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and generate regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and account management progress for senior leadership
  • Develop a strong Loquat brand presence within a geographic territory
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with a graduate degree or additional certifications
  • At least 5 years of enterprise or any other relevant sales experience within banking and/ or financial services sectors
  • Good understanding of Loquat product and service offerings
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and negotiate with senior executive-level decision-makers, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals
  • Strong collaborative skills, with a history of working effectively in team-based environments to achieve sales and customer success
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and other CRM platforms advancing a data-driven sales culture

  • Strong expertise in banking/ commercial banking
